Darwin R. Beauvais  Legal Counsel

Darwin R. Beauvais concentrates his practice in zoning and land use as well as local government affairs. In his practice, he works closely with elected officials and municipal agencies for the benefit of his clients. Prior to joining Zarwin Baum, Darwin was legislative counsel to the Majority Leader of Philadelphia’s City Council. In addition, he is one of the few attorneys in the region who is certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP). Since 2006, Darwin has been a member of the Board of Trustees for the Free Library of Philadelphia and was recently elected secretary on the Board’s executive committee. He has also been on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House since 2010 and a former member of the Zoning Code Commission, which was created by a citywide referendum to rewrite the Zoning Code for the City of Philadelphia. Darwin was recently appointed as Legal Counsel for the Mu Omega Foundation of Delaware Valley, Inc.
